Kids have energy - let’s face it. Thy jump, run, wiggle, dance all around the house and sometimes you feel like you’ve done all that you can to help them run out that energy. What if I told you that you can mix playtime, exercise and education. Too good to be true, right?
You may have seen it on social media, or read the reviews. TekyGo! is the newest gaming system for kids that mixes education with exercise! This tech console is the very first educating and exergaming console designed specially for kids 6 and under. TekyGo! is designed to help children learn, grow and develop through games which were intentionally engineered to improve motor skills, promote daily exercise and get those wiggles out!
TekyGo! was created by a team passionate about gaming and education! The company is based out of Markham, Ontario and has changed the way kids play and learn. They have taken essential steps to create a world that encourages the imagination of children to run wild; A world that encourages physical activity and cognitive development in a fun and interactive way.
With TekyGo!, your child will build confidence while developing a more healthy relationship with screen time. The creative team behind TekyGo! have an extensive background in the gaming industry. Not only does the TekyGo! team write the narrative to all of the games, but they build, develop and write every single game available to users in the game library.
One of the great benefits of the TekyGo! Bouncer is that it is a life-long investment (parents) and will become a lifelong friend to your children. It will aid in your child’s development in the skills they need to be incredible! regardless of age, 2, 6, 8, or even 10, TekyGo! will always encourage their imagination through educational learning, physical development, and active play.
Now, I put the TekyGo! bundle to the real test. As soon as we received our trampoline my toddler and I unboxed it and put it together. Let me say that afterwards she was very tired and went directly to bed - and mom got to veg on the sofa with a glass of wine a touch earlier than normal.
Right now, until December 16th, 2022, TekyGo! is having a holiday 20% off sale, so if you’re considering purchasing one, I recommend you take advantage of it NOW! Also, the company is guaranteeing delivery by the 24th of December if you purchase your trampoline on or before the 16th, so you better act fast.
My TekyGo! Junior Bouncer Bundle came with everything so I didn’t really have to improvise, but the Portal and Sensor (option to purchase alone) do work with third-party trampolines. So, if you already own a kids trampoline, you are in luck.
The trampoline comes 95% assembled. When you unbox it all you need to do is expand it and attach the handle, and voilà! Complete. The Junior Bouncer Bundle also comes with the Portal and the Sensor which are also easy to attach, all you need is an HDMI port on your television. If you do not have an HDMI port, you can try to set it up with this HDMI to DVI adapter or this RCA to HDMI adapter. I am unsure if the TekyGo! portal will recognize the adapter but it’s worth a shot.
The portal comes with a small remote control as well as 2 AAA batteries. You will use this remote to control your console as well as the trampoline.
When you get to the homepage of the system, there are a handful of free games so you’re prompted to set up an account/subscription to access the full game library. Don’t worry! Your first 2 months of the premium subscription is 100% FREE so you can test it out before your subscription begins! There is a (low) monthly fee associated with the monthly subscription, so if you are planning on your child using it daily, then I would say it is most likely worth it (its roughly the same as one Starbucks run). Do you need a subscription? Absolutely not! The free subscription option that includes a rotating selection of games that is updated every month. You will continue to get access to new games just at a slower pace. You will also still get limited access to features of the TekyGo! App as well as get special invites to live events (provided they aren't already filled up with Premium Members).
New games are released every 2 weeks so it keeps your child on their toes (literally). Games are simple and the graphics are great for children. When compared to a more robust gaming system like Xbox, for example, the detail and imagery is way more sophisticated on these advanced consoles. But, as a reminder, this is a Childs console which needs to be tailored to the brain of a child, where simplicity then is best.
Some of the games incorporate learning elements like spelling, alphabet, or completing daily tasks, so kids are continuously learning while having fun!

TekyGo! small sensor box
Bouncer/Sensor: Super functional product. I was a little weary about the small sensor box under the tramp but it is actually extremely sensitive and works very well. Since the sensor underneath the bouncer so responsive, I have taken full advantage of this to teach my toddler the art of patience and timing.
The TekyGo! Bouncer itself seems to be VERY well made. It is sturdy, and really looks and feels like quality material and product design.
The game’s on-screen instructions signal the player to jump up and down in order to choose their character, choose the game and read/skip directions. Charlotte was very excited to play so we tended to skip past directions frequently. If your child isn’t very patient, this I recommend taking them off the bouncer until you’ve selected the game.
Game system: Super easy to use, just find your HDMI, turn on the Portal and you’re ready to play! Initially, you will need to link your iPhone app account with your Portal. The Portal Directions will prompt you so it’s fairly simple.
The games are great. They’re very innocent, so if your child is used to playing on another game console, i.e. Playstation, Xbox, etc, they may feel like the games are less detailed (which they are). These games are designed specifically for kids to learn, build confidence and redefine exercise from a young point of view.
As I said, since we skipped the directions we weren’t entirely sure how to play each game, but it was easy to catch on. The games are very simple - great for developing minds.

Charlotte woke up this morning, literally ran out to the living room and started bouncing. She was so excited to play on her trampoline. I remember getting a trampoline when I was younger and I remember that same feeling of joy when bouncing. It’s freeing. Regardless of age, I think jumping and floating give the individual a sense of weightlessness - and that’s where the true joy comes from.
There are numerous games on the console, some are simpler than others, some are slightly redundant, but kids don’t care. From a parents standpoint, whatever makes my kid joyful is what matters most - and she is most definitely enjoying herself while on the TekyGo! bouncer.

Compared to other gaming systems, I think the price is fair. You can get the entire bundle for $199 which includes the Portal (console), Sensor and the trampoline. Also, for $7.99 USD/$9.99 CAD, you can subscribe to gain access to all of the TekyGo! games on their system, and if you decide to cancel, you can cancel at anytime.
In my opinion, I feel that without a discount code or promotion it may be a little pricey for what you get, but considering behind-the-scene costs like manufacturing, the cost of materials, wages, shipping, think this makes the price of the system fair.

I am so happy to be a TekyGo! partner. I truly believe in this company, and am ecstatic to have such a fun, educational and active toy at this stage in my toddler’s development. Would I purchase this again? Absolutely.
The TekyGo! Bouncer is 100% worth every moment of joy your child has when playing. Though it may seem costly upfront, this is a toy your child will want to play with throughout multiple developmental stages of their life, so it will travel with you for years.
The product feels very sturdy like it won’t deteriorate over time. I love that the company is making strides to integrate active play with screen time so its not one or the other. At such a young age, its vital that we begin introducing activity and exercise so that the child can begin creating their own healthy habits.
My overall rating for this product is a 4.5/5 - we love our TekyGo!
