So here it is, my all-time favorite thing to buyā¦ a white button up shirt! Did you know there is actually a difference between a button-up shirt and a button down shirt? In menās fashion, a button-down shirt actually has buttons on each side of the lapel to keep the collar from moving. The buttons work similar to collar stays except make the shirt look slightly more casual, where collar stays are generally used for a more professional or formal look.
I have three or four styles of white button up shirts in my wardrobe because this is my favlorite staple. Unless you live in Arizona, you can generally wear a button up shirt all year round! Now that weather is cooling off, I am beginning to get more excited about styling and layering this wardrobe favorite!
